[SOLVED] Assassin's Creed Unity won't launch on Steam. I press on 'Play' and nothing happens. What could be the trouble??

Hey guys.

I simply bought Ac Unity on Steam and I can't make it work. I double click on the game'southward icon, the 'preparing to launch' bulletin appears for a couple of seconds and so goose egg happens. I'thousand stuck on a loop of pressing 'Play', seeing 'Stop' for a few seconds and and so 'Play' once more. There'southward not fifty-fifty a .exe in Chore Manager.

Any idea what might exist causing this? Everything is up to date, by the way. Cheers in advance!

Launch Ubisoft Connect on it's own and brand sure it'south updated and yous can login to it.

I've already done this, downloaded the latest Connect launcher, reinstalled the game and nil happened. Information technology still doesn't work.

Install game on a drive not managed as a Storage Space, for instance your Windows OS drive

Exercise you by risk have information technology installed on a bulldoze managed as a Windows Storage Space? According to PCGamingWIki, that tin can cause it to not launch.

Did you follow steps suggested from steam? Did yous read right through it?

Between what has been said hither and at that place im confident there would accept been a fix and yous're doing something wrong.

Betwixt what has been said here and there im confident at that place would take been a fix and you're doing something incorrect.

Similar I said, I have everything properly installed and updated. I have both the x64 and x86 versions of the 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015 - 2019 redistributables. I have updated my graphics card, Steam, the Ubisoft launcher. There are a few people on Steam maxim that the Ubisoft servers might exist downwardly but I've tried launching AC Odyssey which requires the Ubisoft launcher and it works nicely. I seriously have no idea what else to effort,
