How To Make A New Ideology

An ideology is a set of ideas placed into one group to make a system.

There are many ideologies, the most commonly used of which are Centrist ideologies, e.g. Liberalism, Political Apathy, Capitalism, Neo-Liberalism, Social Liberalism, etc.

However, not every idea is actually placed into an ideology, and not every person is able to find their perfect ideological balance.

So a few days ago I published my ideology "Yeossism" in my Wattpad "book" titled "The Perfect Left".

So, how does one make an ideology?

Well, first you have to plan out your beliefs, and put them into one set.

T h en, you have to focus on your core idea, which will be the main feature of the ideology (Yeossism's core idea is that in order for society to progress and live properly, concepts need to be abandoned or simplified.)

Next, you need to start writing a book, or at least any form of written media to describe the ideology. I went with writing my book on Wattpad because I'm really not going to work with publishing companies.

The book that describes the ideology first and sets it's goals is called a manifesto. The manifesto for Marxism would be The Communist Manifesto (1848).

Anarcho-Capitalism's manifesto would be "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand.

Anarcho-Communism as well as Anarcho-Syndicalism both stem from Pjotr Kropotkin's book "The Conquest of Bread".

So, in your book, you can choose to be either very philosophical (which will make your book a living nightmare to read) or you can just get straight to the point (which is what I did).

Your manifesto should be divided into different parts in order to group ideas.

Every idea group is an optional choice to focus on.

There are mainly 2 idea groups, Social and Economic.

And they can also interact with each other.

So let's create some wacky ideology as an example :

Economic Ideas :

Tax the poor to death
Do not ever tax the rich
Privatize healthcare
Introduce a gift economy
Minimum wage must always be low
Labor value is determined by if the product looks like a dog, depending on how much it looks like a dog, if it looks more like a dog, it will be valued more, if it is the other way around, it is valued less
Make Phone Cases have a minimum price of $1000 (2011 value)

Social Ideas :

No sex allowed
No children allowed
Everyone must be killed, except for Tom Hanks.

And yeah, boom, you've created your ideology.

So, make your manifesto, share it in whatever way possible, and then congratulations, you just created an ideology.
